Experience

2014-NOW: Executive Director, Goldman Sachs, Hong Kong

I work at the interest rate exotics and hybrids trading desk, covering all APEJ currencies. Main focus is our structured notes and exotics business. More occasionally I'm also involved in other types of funding trades, most commonly repo trades (I started Goldman's APEJ repo desk, with a focus on funding Malaysian, Thai, Phillippino, Indonesian and Korean government securities).

2012-2013: Associate, Goldman Sachs, Hong Kong

I transferred to interest rate exotics trading, focusing on NJA currencies. Focused on structured notes issuance and exotics, building a successful franchise across several client groups.

2011-2012: Associate, Goldman Sachs, Hong Kong

In the later parts of my stint in Macro Structuring, I focused more exclusively on interest rate products and also got quite heavily involved in our structured notes issuance business, being involved in both structuring, pricing and idea-generation. In 2012 I transferred to interest rate exotics trading, performing several of the same tasks but also focusing on risk management.

2009-2011: Analyst, Goldman Sachs, Hong Kong

In November 2009 I moved to Hong Kong, to join Goldman Sach's Macro Structuring desk; I focused on algorithmic products and interest rate products, and was involved in both pricing and idea-generation.

2009-2009: Analyst, Goldman Sachs, London

I worked in the Hedge Fund Credit Sales team. My daily work consisted of covering hedge fund clients from all over Europe and institutional clients from mainly Scandinavia in their trading activities related to credit instruments. Whereas the team was good and the atmosphere as well, I felt drawn to a more quantitative role and towards the emerging markets in Asia. In November 2009 I moved to join Goldman Sachs' Macro Structuring Desk in Hong Kong.

2008-2008: Analyst, Goldman Sachs, London

I was in the Securities Divisions Summer Analyst Programme. I rotated at the Algorithmic Trading Desk, the Synthetic Trading Desk, the Credit Structuring Desk and the Hedge Fund Credit Sales Desk. Outcome was an offer from multiple desks, leading to my subsequent employment.
